2025 Become a Vet Shadowing Contest - Colorado

Do you want to become a veterinarian? Let us get you into a veterinary hospital to see first-hand what veterinarians do. You will shadow the veterinary team at West Ridge Animal Hospital in Greeley, Colorado. If you are a high school student or 16 - 18 years of age, this is the contest for you!
GRAND PRIZE: A Shadowing Opportunity at West Ridge Animal Hospital
One lucky grand prize winner will be invited join the veterinary team at Wheat Ridge Animal Hospital on July 30th, 2025 courtesy of Vet Set Go and Antech Diagnostics.
Vet Set Go works everyday to encourage future veterinarians across the country to make their dreams come true and this contest is here to jump start your shadowing efforts!
How Old Do I Have To Be?
The shadowing contest is only open to 16-18 year old high school students
How To Enter
To enter, you have to tell us your story in 300 words or less. Just share your personal story on why you want to become a veterinarian and what you have done so far to explore your dream. You might want to tell us:
- Why you want to become a veterinarian
- What you have done to get animal experience
- What you have done to help animals
- What you have done to learn explore the science of animals
- What you have done to learn more about veterinarians
Then find a photo with you helping animals or simply enjoying time with your favorite pet or animal friend. If you are under 18 years of age, share your photo with your parents so that they can enter you in our contest.
ALL ENTRIES INTO THE VET SET GO CONTEST MUST BE SUBMITTED BY A STUDENT, PARENT, OR LEGAL GUARDIAN WHO IS AT LEAST 18 YEARS OF AGE VIA THE OFFICIAL ENTRY FORM ON THE VET SET GO WEBSITE. .
