Do you want to be a veterinarian or even just love animals? We would love to be part of that passion in a fun and interactive way!
We set up interactive stations throughout our hospital that are focused on veterinary medicine and pet care. The stations consist of surgery, bandaging, and x-rays just to name a few.
In our surgery station, we have students wear cap, gown, mask, gloves, and scrub top. Once you are properly dressed for surgery, you enter our surgical suite where stuffed dogs are on monitoring equipment and are in need of surgery. The stuffed animals have cloth organs inside and they are to deliver the puppies once they locate the ‘uterus’. After delivery, you place all the organs back properly and close (which is a zipper sewed on the dog) the incision.
