Are you interested in caring for animals? That’s how campers spend their days at Camp Happy Tails. During winter vacation, Camp Happy Tails invites you to join their Adoption Task Force from 9am-12pm. As part of the Adoption Task Force, you’ll learn about the shelter animals, care for them, and help them find the right home.
Summer vacation camps are full-day sessions offered in partnership with the YMCA. Daily activities may include animal-themed games and crafts, service projects, guest speakers, and interacting with shelter animals. In the past, lessons have been about how to communicate with animals, how the shelter works, and what a job in animal care might be like. All Camp Happy Tails programs are designed to teach kids about animals, as well as give them hands on experience working with animals.
