Are you interested in Marine Biology? If so, this Sea Turtle Camp may be perfect for you. Campers spend six days at the Karen Beasley Sea Turtle Rescue and Rehabilitation Center on Topsail Island, off the coast of North Carolina. While living at the camp’s beachside retreat center, campers will eat together in the dining hall then head outside each morning to the camp’s outdoor classroom. Daily activities are geared toward caring for the sea turtles at the rehabilitation center and also include nest walks along the best to find turtle nests, nighttime hatchling watches, salt marsh excursions, and focused study time on topics such as dune ecology. Students may also receive a surfing lesson or an eco-tour through the barrier islands on a stand up paddleboard
