Most volunteers start off in the Education Department where they talk with guests at touch pools and educational carts. Volunteers with a certain amount of hours are eligible to apply to the Husbandry Department, where they can do hands-on work with marine mammals, birds, amphibians, and fish. Everyone is really kind and there are many opportunities to get involved in once you begin volunteering. Great place to get started if interested in marine vet med.
