Shoals Marine Laboratory is offering summer courses for high school students interested marine science and biology! These courses are taught by university lecturers and high school teachers and they are designed for advanced high school students interested in topics such as coastal ecosystems, environmentalism, marine biology, and conservation. Depending on the day, class may taught in a lab, on a rocky shoreline, or on the deck of a boat, and the courses include research and fieldwork where students collect samples during class excursions and offshore trips.
