Hi! My name is Molly! I am 15 and I live in Massachusetts. I joined VetSetGo like 3 years ago, but I am now considering applying to vet camp. Looking at the application, I saw that they asked about how much animal experience you had. I have worked a lot with my 2 dogs (training and agility) as well as other people's dogs and shadowed a vet for one day, but I was wondering if anyone had recommendations of how to get more experience? I have almost no time with school and sports which makes this especially difficult. Thanks!

Hello I’m also from Mass and I go to a agricultural school in the state and it really helps. If your willing to go to another school. If not try seeing if you can do a animal volunteer job MSPCA offers some and I know others might. Another cool thing is getting farm animals and breeding them. Hope this helps.

Hi Molly I am Cecelia, and I am 11. I would also like to be a vet. I think pet sitting is a good one. I do pet sitting, home made dog/cat cookies, go do little "check ups", and am starting a new cat/dog bed bisnus.

Hi Molly! I'm not sure how much room you have at your house, but chickens are a great learning experience. They are also pretty easy to take care of. Be careful of predators! Also, keep an eye on the dogs so they don't eat them (been there done that.) There is a ton of information about chickens everywhere! Recently one of my chickens got attacked by an owl and we decided to try to nurse her back to health, it has been a great learning experience!
