Love for dogs

for as long as i can remember we have always had a dog. The one we have now my mom adopted from the animal shelter since our puppy died of parvo. That was 8 years ago and we still have her. She is the best dog in the world and we recently had to move because she would climb our fence to get out of our backyard then climb the neighbors tree to get back in. We taught her how to play football, soccer, baseball and she is the best dog. We went to the animal shelter before christmas so we could get her a playmate but they didn't have any that would be a good match. Being there made me sad seeing all the animals locked up and i wish i could have been able to fix the ones who were sick or hurt. Baseball has always been my life but since then, seeing all those animals made me want to help them. During the summer when i am not playing baseball i am going to see if i can be a helper. We already help other animals we find that are hurt but my mom says if i can help out at a vets office then it would give me more experience for when i am older. I cry when i see a hurt animal but i know when i get older i will be able to help them get better so they can go back into the wild or back home to their families. My other favorite time was being able to see a cow have a baby cow and help the mom take care of it since she got sick and could not do it on her own
