The Independent Book Publishers Association (IBPA) recently awarded Vet Set Go! a Gold Medal as the best title in Youth Non-Fiction. The Benjamin Franklin book award represents one of the highest national honors in independent publishing and I am so proud of this accomplishment.
For over 29 years, the Benjamin Franklin Awards have been administered by the IBPA with help of over 150 book publishing professionals including librarians, bookstore owners, reviewers, designers, publicity managers, and editors. Recognizing excellence in both editorial and design, the award evaluates 55 different categories of publications.
It is an honor for Vet Set Go! to be recognized as the Gold winner for Youth Non-Fiction. Our goal is to give the best possible advice on how aspiring tween and teen veterinarians can explore their dream of becoming a veterinarian and it is exciting to be recognized for providing such excellent content to our readers.
What makes this even more exciting is that it is the second major award for Vet Set Go! Earlier this year,Vet Set Go! was awarded a Moms Choice Award and recognized as one of the best new books for families.
Vet Set Go was created to help aspiring veterinarians explore their dream. I am so happy that others continue to recognized the quality and value that we brining to future veterinarians and their families.
