Vet Step II Camp - Tuskegee University

Hello my name is Hannah and I am 16 years old. This week I am so excited to participate in the Vet Step virtual camp offered by Tuskegee University. This week I have learn so much about dissecting the fetal pig as well as how to actually do sutures. I am also in the process of creating a research project with a group of amazing like minded 11th and 12st graders from all over. The camp has been so much fun and very engaging. Attached is a picture of me where I cut into the pig to take out organs. This has been such a fun way to get exposed to Veterinary Medicine. The only thing that would have made it better is actually having the opportunity to be onsite, but Covid prevented that.
