While volunteering at Wenword Stables I fell in love with Elvira and I ended up rescuing her by purchasing her! I got the opportunity to clean stables, groom the horses, and even ride them! What an awesome experience!
My job was to insure that the rabbits cages were cleaned. I volunteered for a week and the cages were dumped every other day. I also watered and fed the rabbits, as well as checked on does that had litters.
