Shadowing A Vet

I have had the privilege of getting to shadow Dr. Martin at Plantation Pet Health Center in Frisco, TX in the summertime and days off during school, each time is a different experience and I never know what to expect, never boing, always busy, different animals and Dr. Martin does great job explaining everything he is going to do and in great detail. He's such a great teacher the whole time during each animal examination. I really enjoyed getting to sit in on a few surgeries of spay and neuter, watching how a dental cleaning goes, seeing how a cat can be put under sedation to be looked at and prepared for surgery. So cool to see the operations of day to day. Makes me excited for my future!
