Win a Chance to Shadow a Veterinarian!

Do you live in Colorado? For this first opportunity, we are offering a chance to shadow the doctors at West Ridge Animal Hospital in Greeley, Colorado on July 30th, 2025. West Ridge Animal Hospital has been serving the animals of Northern Colorado since 1968. In 1978, West Ridge became the first American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) accredited hospital in the area. West Ridge Animal Hospital remains the only full service American Animal Hospital Association-accredited hospital in Greeley and has recently achieved the highest level of accreditation available.

During the day, you'll shadow the doctors and veterinary team at West Ridge Animal Hospital. You also have the chance to meet Tammi Lesser. Tammi is excited to answer your questions as she shares her journey from kennel Assistant, via Credentialled Veterinary Technician, to today being the Interim President of Antech Diagnostics, North America.

To enter you must be a high school student, 16 -18 years of age, and tell us your story in 300 words or less. We want to know:

• Why you want to be a veterinarian
• Why you love animals
• What you have done to get animal experience or learn more about science

Then you can (or if you are under the age of 18, have your parent) submit your story and Enter The Contest Here. We'll also want you to share a photo of yourself with a favorite pet or helping animals.
