Enter the 2023 Become a Veterinary Camp contest today! Thanks to the support of VCA Animal Hospitals, we will be sending forty-five lucky aspiring veterinarians to camp for FREE this year. That’s right, we are giving away scholarships to Auburn College of Veterinary Medicine’s Jr. Vet Camp. The Jr. Vet Camp will be held from June 18^th – June 23^rd, 2023 in Auburn, Alabama.

The Auburn Jr. Vet Camp is one of the premier veterinary camps in the world. You’ll get hands on experience with animals like beagles, horses, goats, snakes, dairy cattle, and llamas. You’ll also spend your time at the veterinary college with veterinary students as your guides exploring everything from parasitology to pathology. There is no better way to explore your dream of becoming an animal doctor.

To enter you must be a rising 6th, 7th and 8th grade student in the Fall of 2023 and tell us your story in 300 words or less. We want to know:

• Why you want to be a veterinarian
• Why you love animals
• What you have done to get animal experience or learn more about science
